Spring time is here! Join us on Wednesday, March 21 at 11am as we discuss rattlesnake awareness and safety as we head into spring and summer months. Fresno Chaffee Zoo is once again, teaming up with the California Poison Control System as well as, Rais Vorha, MD, a board certified physician of
Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology, from the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program
We will be discussing typical behaviors of rattlesnakes, addressing myths and misconceptions about these amazing animals, how to keep yourself safe when you're in their territory, and the proper steps to take if you happen to get bitten by one.
The talk will take place just outside of the reptile building inside Fresno Chaffee Zoo. There are no tickets necessary, the chat is free with regular zoo admission. We will be broadcasting the talk on Facebook LIVE.
