Our 98th Annual Meeting and Program, scheduled for March 22, will feature the presentation Buffalo Bill & California. Writer, historian, and lecturer Gregory Hinton will present a program detailing William F. «Buffalo Bill» Cody's life from boyhood to express rider, scout, and international showman. He will describe Cody's tours to multiple cities in the Golden State, including Fresno. Throughout the talk, vintage photographs and Wild West posters from around the world and California will be shown. Research for Buffalo Bill & California was underwritten by the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, in celebration of the 2017 Buffalo Bill Centennial.
