Join Rev. Tim and explore the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos, who have for the past 500-plus years helped shape what is today the United States of America and have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the U.S. The class will use the acclaimed 2013 PBS series as a reference point. The workshop is part of our on-going work as a congregation to inform ourselves in order to dismantle White Supremacy in our country, denomination, and congregation. Minimum registration 14. Registration deadline March 9.
Optional: Companion book of same title, by Ray Suarez, may be purchased. Some copies available in the Book Shop.
For all classes, childcare can be made available upon request.
To register and/or request childcare for all classes (unless otherwise indicated), contact Katie Hymans, Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration, at [email protected]
(preferred) or 322.6146.
For classes that require registration, we ask that you register by one week prior to the start of the class so we can ensure that the minimum amount of participants has been met. If the minimum has not been met one week prior, the class may be cancelled.
