Dustin David is an award winning stand up comedian. His first show was in Portland, Maine in 2004 where he placed second in the Portland's Funniest Professional contest. He toured the country doing stand up with The Insiders of Comedy before moving to Los Angeles. He co-produced an award winning comedy night for two years at The Unknown Theater. He also produced the only comedy night at Book Soup. He is currently working on releasing his first comedy album.
He was inspired at a young age to pursue stand up comedy. He would watch Rodney Dangerfield specials and then perform the material to his dad in the living room during commercials. He was heavily influenced by many of the comedians coming out of Boston in the late 80's / early 90's. He was drawn to their combination of great joke writing and captivating stage presence. He would later get to perform with many of them at The Portland Maine Comedy Connection.
Today he lives in Hollywood, California. He is always performing stand up comedy whenever there is the opportunity to do so. He just recently finished shooting a comedy special in his hometown of Portland, Maine at the One Long Fellow Square theater. You can also see him performing at Candy, every Sunday night at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood.
