A VISIT TO SAN LUIS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
SATURDAY, JANUARY 13, 2018 9:00 am
SAN LUIS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, LOS BANOS
Hundreds of Snow geese, swans, Sandhill cranes, Ross geese, ducks and more spend winter at this refuge near Los Banos. A visit to view the migrating waterfowl and the resident herd of Tule Elk is a rare treat for nature lovers. You’ll feel like you’re in a wildlife movie when the flocks rise together before your eyes. After touring the refuge with our guide, warm up and enjoy a box lunch and the engaging exhibits in the beautiful “green” Visitor Center. We'll meet in Fresno and carpool to the refuge.
